Get ready your going on a hayride!

What Can You Expect from Your Ride? Become a part of the Blue Bell Resort tradition and take the old-fashioned hayride that will allow you to enjoy the scenic views offered by the Custer State Park. It's a 45-minute panoramic and serene wildlife tour that will take you along the park's stunning backroad. The wagon will stop at a gorgeous mountain meadow canyon for a scrumptious chuck wagon feast.

On the way to the meadow, you can take in the striking landscape of the park and sing classic folk and country songs. You might even get to see the varied wildlife of the Custer State Park along the way. Each paying guest of the wagon will receive a souvenir bandana and cowboy hat to help you truly experience the Black Hills life.

Everything That You Will Get to eat For the Hayride and Chuck Wagon Dinner, you can have a delicious 1/3lb hamburger or a mouthwatering 8 oz. choice sirloin steak. The ride will also provide you with other delightful food items, such as cowboy beans, potato salad, cornbread and honey, coleslaw, cookies, chuckwagon coffee, watermelon, and lemonade. The wagon can also provide you with vegetarian food items, such as a veggie wrap. However, you will have to let them know about your food preferences when you have your reservation for the ride.

Reservations for the ride If you wish to come along on this unique ride, you must reserve your spot for it. You can call the Blue Bell Lodge to reserve your place on the wagon before 2 pm. Late accommodations and walk-ins might be accommodated based on the availability of space inside the wagon. However, the cut-off time for them is 4 pm. It would be best if you asked for the exact departure time when making your reservation. Depending on the year's time, the wagon can depart from the lodge anywhere between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

Cost of the ride The ride will cost you $58 per adult and $51 for children under 12. For 3-years-old children and under, the ride costs nothing, as long as they sit on their parents' laps and eat from their plate.
